Francis Fest is coming Saturday, May 3!
Don't miss this once-a-year opportunity for fun, food and fellowship with our community. Tell your friends and family, all are welcome. When & Where: Francis Fest is a community celebration on May 3 from 10 am to 4 pm at St. James. What: Join us for a plant sale, food offerings, thrift store deals, children’s art make and take, talk with Franciscan Sisters, browse the used book sale, meet and greet with master gardeners, and check out community resources! Why: In medieval Europe, St. Francis of Assisi turned away wealth to care for those around him and the environment. He joyfully treated all he encountered with compassion, including plants, animals, and Mother Earth. His radical example encourages us to do the same today for our community! How you can help: We will be collecting...
Artist? Crafter? Collector? Are you an artist or a crafter? You can donate your wares for St. James' Francis Fest 2025! We will have an arts and crafts booth selling your donations and creating income for our parish. Please contact Judy Miranda, Jeanne Crown, or Ann Aarhus to tell us about what you plan to donate. We're ready to receive donations now and need to have them no later than April 27. Beautiful items we've already collected... |
